Sell Wand

I purchased a Sell Wand through the shop and it seems to work fine except for Melons! It will not sell melons! Is this a glitch or by design?

Edit: Also, does this item persist through the reset? I would think so since it costs money.

ye its a glitch and the same with white wool and I'm pretty sure you can carry through reset
