1.10 update coming? Can't log in.

I have not been able to log into the server or vote

The server is not down and you should be able to log in with 1.8 and 1.9 versions.

how do you do that? there is no version selection for me to choose when Minecraft starts

When you open minecraft it should take you to a launcher. If you edit your profile you can change the version you log in with.

Unless you are using a different version of minecraft such as the Windows 10 one.
