Better Selling/ Buying methods

A few years back, I was on a server where you could buy and sell items by interacting with a chest and you put the item you want to sell in the chest and a sign saying the cost and how many and if someone was to come along and buy it they could just right click the sign and the transaction would be made. I feel this would be beneficial and I would like to see it in Season 5 of survival

I think that your suggestion has already been "implied" in a way into Manacube. There are Sellwands, which I'm pretty sure you might be aware of right now. If you're talking about a player made shop, I feel like this could confuse players a little bit in the beginning, but they also might end up liking it.
