I would like lauch myself in the creation of a champion's map but idk why i can't merge a 3x3 plot. if someone can gimme a solution or may be a staff member can help my plots to merge togethers. thanks you.

by the way, is "post-apocalyptic" a good theme or to common ?

Unfortunately you can't make a 3x3 plot, but you don't have to build a champion map all in one plot. You can use multiple 2x2 plots. In fact, it's recommended that your champ have more than one big build. Also, the theme is great :D good luck building it :)
