Whilst we're at it, why not generally add a leaderboard for most, if not all kills/tasks related things, with prizes for top 3 or 5. It would make festival more worth grinding after you for e.g. get a certain pin. Most players would stop killing them when they get the pin, but if there's a leaderboard for most kills with rewards, people would flock and kill crabs.
It has been scientifically proven that if you offer someone or something a reward, instead of a punishment, they'll do it. I don't know why people ignore it if there's a punishment.
