Does anyone know how to get past the third checkpoint (including the one at the start)? I'm really confused.

yes just use F5 or your button you use on your thing to go to third person.

You'll want to go onto the red wool (the lower one) at the level of 79. Then there is a ladder below that block and there is ladder parkour to some blocks on the side of the taco, In case you still can't find it i have included a screenshot.
