When did you start playing on ManaCube and what does your activity look like?
I started on Mineville SB for a month or two then only started playing SB on ManaCube August 18, 2024. My normal activity around 2 hours a day Monday through Thursday and anywhere between 5-10 hours a day Friday through Sunday. I probably average around 25 active hours a week.
Why do you want to join the QA team?
I want to join the QA team because I have seen or been affected by a few bugs/"mistakes" that are on the server. A lot of the time, I end up going to someone who is already on the QA team and let them know of whatever issue there might be. I think it would be a lot easier, and a lot less annoying to current QA team members, if I was part of the team myself.
Do you have any experience with game testing/quality assurance?
I have minor experience with game testing and quality assurance from a previous skyblock server (not saying server name but can provide if needed). I was given a helper role on the server and worked along side the owner to game test the new features/plugins that were being implemented. Testing would range anywhere from playing with new mechanics to try and break them, to downloading hack clients to test anti-cheat in pvp (I have NEVER used cheat clients on servers unless requested to by the owner/management).
What qualities or skills do you have that would contribute positively to the QA team?
My biggest positive contribution to the QA team would have to be my activity on the server. The amount of time I spend on ManaCube a week is the same as a part time job that I don't get paid for. On top of that, I enjoy going around testing new items and trying to find errors/bugs that come out with new patches. This ranges anywhere between new items not working as advertised, stats from website to game not matching, misspelt words on item descriptions, etc. For the people that know me, I'm also very active in chat and talk to a lot of the players about issues found by the community or myself.
