Harder Difficulty?

I have these really hard challenges to get some Ghast tears and some enderpearls. People tell me the rates of mob spawning are so low so it's really difficult to get these items. I feel really stuck right now.
I'd recommend having a harder difficulty like Normal.
I'm just so stuck right now, so please consider this.
