How do you start Skyblock island?

I get to "Type your island name" but cannot enter anything. I have chat set to "shown", and I can type /islandname, but it does nothing, and I cannot type it any other place. What am I doing wrong?

Howdy Howdy!

I am sorry this has gone so long without a reply, have you tried doing just /is? It should bring up a GUI where you can start your island as well as do other things regarding it. I hope this helped, if not reply back and I will find an answer for you!
