How to Farm?

I've been trying to farm wheat and I just started factions today. But my seeds don't stay planted? They keep popping up. Is there a specific way they have to be planted? The chat isn't very helpful.

It may have to be in claimed land, so I'd try that first. But I don't think wheat needs water to grow on here, at least from what I've seen.

My land is claimed and they pop off the dirt immediately when place the seeds next to them. But thanks, ill try without the water.

Hey I would definitely recommend skipping wheat farming and going straight for sugarcane. Cane is what is going to make you the most money on factions at least.
