We need to get rid of the video thing from chat if it's not going to work, it's only causing more lag.

@Froggie937 The ads are currently not working and they are under maintenance, they are putting in different ads so it's not the same and boring. If they remove from chat they just need to bring it back.

Hello,
Chat isn't really the problem that causes the lag on survival. It is understood that many people do not like the ad system popping up on the screen and people most likely want a setting to disable it. However, in survival one of the more bigger problems that is making the server lag is by so many people coming on, using chunks, spawning mobs from grinders and so forth all around the land, making the server just a bit more laggy. I do hope that even though it lags you still find amusement of the survival gamemode. Dacon, Dylan and Purpz, has been working to fix the lag as fast as possible when staff report the server having another lag problem.

The ad's are not the problem same with the chat it has to do with your pc or router

The best way to avoid lag as an individual player is to build your base far from others, avoid excessive water or lava, and set lamps around mob spawners so they can be turned off when not in use.
