Inventory Lag

When I play the server doesn't seem to lag at all but when I take items from chests, switch items around in my inventory, and pick items up from the ground, my inventory is changed back to the order it was in 30 seconds prior as if I am rubber banding. I'm sure you guys already know about this problem but I just wanted to discuss and talk about it.

I've never experienced this. What server do you play on and what version are you in?

This is likely why - most of our servers recommend 1.12.2 to play on.

While some people hate the version, it’s really helpful for stopping (or minimising) lag. I’d also suggest 1.12.2 OptiFine if you’re having lag issues.

Since I started playing mana there has been inventory lag on survival.
When you try to throw items out, move them into chests, or just move them around in your inventory. The item will either re-appear in your inv, refuse to let you pick it up, or move to another spot when you go to pick up another item.
It is very bizarre and it would be nice to have a fix.
Although only small it is rather annoying.
