Is there a way to get a sign with colored letters? [creative]

I have a space themed plot and my spawn area could use some colored signs ^^
I've also seen player whom have floating text on objects, any command i need to use to get that?

Now we're on topic, is there a list on some cosmetic commands?

I’m pretty late sorry! You can create colored letters on signs using the color codes (guide to it here), but you need a rank I’m pretty sure. The only way I know how to create floating text is through armor stands. Lastly, what exactly do you mean by cosmetic commands?

Make sure you put the color codes before the words you want

i think if you right click a sign with dye it might work but you can also use color codes but im not sure if it works for all ranks
