Make plots bigger?

Hey! I have a suggestion for Creative!

Please make plots bigger because I think it will be much better to have more space!

Yes it will lag more! but it will be more fun

You can buy more plots with mana then merge them.

You can get more plots in /shop and if you buy a rank them just /plot claim them beside eachother and /plot merge them together so that’s why we don’t need higher plots -1

Personally, I feel like something like this suggestion would be pretty neat. It's no secret that it's easier to make a better build with more space, and for members who don't have the /merge command, bigger plots would be fantastic. I personally think something like a Big Plots world would be the best approach.

He literally stated "for members who dont have the /merge command". Plus to make a bigger plot you need to buy another plot which is 70 mana, and 140 more if you dont want a rectangular plot. I think this is a good idea, it would be nice if plots could become a bit bigger.

Yea, but they are saying that it would be easier to have it for everyone without having to vote. Which is understandable because it can be frustrating for new players.

I can definitely see how it would be easy to just keep things as they are, and that’s definitely not bad, given the command isn’t too inaccessible to newer (or less active) players. However, I feel like the presence of larger plots would be a really great resource that could improve the experience of a new player.

I would also argue that Big Plots would not make the merge command useless either. Let’s say that the staff team are absolute dreams and add big plots that are twice the width, and twice the length of a regular plot. With respect to ordinary plots, these are “2x2” plots. The merge command let’s players get “1x2”, “1x3”, “2x3...” Any wacky combination involving an odd number. Players can also use the merge command to make a plot shaped like an L, or add a plot onto another shape if they’re playing plot Tetris (That’s a joke).

Outside of saving “some” server memory and a little bit of lag, I feel like there are no major reasons not to give some big people some big plots.

If everyone had unlimited access to those commands it would remove the need for voting, mana is easily obtainable and encourages people to remain active on the server. Think how much extra space would be taken up by people who join once and claim a lot of plots then never return.

/merge is hardly the primary reason people votes as far as I know. Most people vote to get worldedit every few days.

I don’t really see where you’re coming from with the whole saving space thing. Plots are practically unlimited, and I don’t see a bunch of unused big plots being drains on the server, if you’re speaking in terms of server memory.

Its fine the way it is in my opinion, nothing will change that.

I think the plots sizes are okay. Considering you can buy /merge, and you can buy more plots. You can also get more plots by getting graded. For example I believe C, B, A, A+ give more plots. Though it might be hard to get to these standards, it's a fair way of getting more plots.

Also, if we had bigger plots, there would be less voting because of the plots general size.
