Hello there I have came here today to voice my disliking of certain things manacube do and the way certain things are getting dealt with these are my own personal issues and I do not speak for anyone except myself and my own personal issues that I have fame up with that I feel could be dealt with in better/different ways I do understand staff have to do things in different ways and please do not think I am trying to be disrespectful in what I say as I am not and am only voicing my concerns/disliking of certain aspects

1. The appealing of a mute. Ok so I get I have had many chances on manacube and I'll be extremely lucky to get another one I understand that the reason my latest appeal was rejected was because I haven't shown that I could behave and the staff member who handled my latest appeal made it easy to understand but like it seems like this is something that's set in stone like if I can't show my good behavior I'm more then likely gonna stay muted and in my 2nd most recent appeal I was told to wait a certain amount of months and appeal again however during that time the only way I could talk was through the forums and when I finally did appeal it seemed like a very quick NO because I couldn't show good behavior (due to me being muted on both discord and in game) so basically what I'm tryna say is that if someone is gonna need to show good behavior but won't be able to for 5 months why tell them to appeal in 4? I understand manacube may do things a certain way but it's jsut confusing to me

2. Spam disliking, people who spam dislike you on forums from what I have seen are rarely punished for it and the dislikes are never removed which just seems extremely unfair

Hey, Shrek.

I appreciate you sharing your thoughts on these situations. I'd like to address these from my perspective as I have personally handled your appeals and some of your reports for the reaction spams. I don't speak for all of the staff and I'm not saying anything I say is set in stone, these are just my personal thoughts.

Regarding your mutes, we believe we have given you numerous chances and each time you are given another one, it doesn't take long until you end up muted or in trouble again. I can understand that it may be frustrating to be muted for an extended period of time, but it is your own behaviour that lands you there - if you continue to demonstrate to us that you cannot be trusted to talk in chat without violating the rules, this privilege will be taken until you can. When we provide waiting periods between appeals, this is to save players submitting appeals just weeks after being rejected if we ourselves cannot see us changing our minds on the rejection - and yes, it gives us a chance (in most cases) to monitor the behaviour (among other factors) of the appellant during this period to see if there are any changes. I can appreciate that whilst being muted on all platforms except the forums, this may make that difficult for you to demonstrate any change - however, this is again due to your own behaviour.

If you're given a wait period of 2 months, it doesn't mean you MUST re-appeal in 2 months. I understand you're eager to be unmuted, but I think it's in your best interest to be patient and wait to appeal until you are certain you are able to comply with the rules. In your situation, I would advise that you focus on improving your behaviour and your interactions with the community before you consider appealing. If you focus on improving for the sake of improving, you'll get a lot farther than improving just so you meet the bare minimum expectations to be unmuted.

Even when you're muted, your behaviour can still be monitored. You can submit reports, you can give feedback and suggestions - I know you do your "Daily Question" posts on the Forums, which is a great way to engage with the community and get to know others, and give others the opportunity to open up to using the forums! Ultimately, the change you make is up to you. Another tip I would give you for whenever you feel you're ready to appeal, is to check out our Appeals Guide to give you more information on what exactly we're looking for and what is considered when you appeal. You can read this here: https://manacube.wiki/appeals

As for the reaction spam, we do punish for this as you are aware - your situation was an exception because of the level of spam you were creating on the forums. We are generally more lax with forums moderation because we encourage players to share their thoughts - whether that's positive, negative or neutral. "Negative" reactions aren't the end-all-be-all of the Forums. Not everyone is going to agree with your thoughts, opinions and points - and that is totally okay, as long as it's done respectfully. You have a history of spam-reacting to players' posts, and I believe even did so recently when you reported another player for doing this to you, but removed your reactions - from my understanding you seem to instigate or at least be involved in some way when there's an incident of "spam reactions" on posts. I would strongly advise that if you disagree with a players' post or statement, you just move along and ignore it if they have a lot of comments you disagree with, or limit the reactions you give on players' posts. It seems to me that most times players react to your posts negatively, it is out of retaliation because you do the same to them. It's true that staff will rarely remove reactions - this is because there is rarely ever a need to. In exceptional circumstances it may be considered, but again this is unlikely.

Ultimately, if you have any questions about either of these things and you'd like to discuss them further, I'm happy to discuss this further in DMs or you can certainly contact another member of staff who I'm sure will also be happy to hear you out and discuss this with you. The forums is meant to be a fun place for players to engage with others, share opinions and suggestions, and be a main source of support - it doesn't need to be a competition for reactions. At the end of the day, everyone is entitled to their opinions.

Have a nice day, Shrek!

Hello hallow thank you for this response I understand what u are saying and I understand my other reaction spam was my bad however I'm talking about one that happened yesterday from a player who is banned permanently (as of writing this) and blames me as seemingly the reason for it I went into the reports channel to complain yet havent seen any response on it there so I decided to come here to the forums to voice my disliking for it the things they disliked clearly weren't just because of opinion it's just to be annoying

We did discuss this, and the player was given a warning point for this - apologies that you weren't updated on this :)
