Would you like to submit a map for our Parkour Server? Find out how below:

New: Now accepting dropper maps. Use current dropper maps as a guide.

Requirements:
  • Put checkpoints on the map with signs
  • It must not be extremely wide ( It might interfere with other courses )
  • Preferably made in a void environment
  • Preferably a themed parkour (Not just random blocks)
  • You can have pixel art as long as it's not the majority of the map'
  • Have the name of your map on a sign at the beginning
  • No shortcuts that shorten the length of the map by a lot
  • What you must state in your submission:
    - Post nice screenshots of the map
    - Tell us what difficulty you think the course is, (we will test it to double check)
    - Information about who built the course.
    - The username of the plot it was built on (Map Maker World//Preferred)

Banned Blocks
  • Single iron fences
  • Single glass panes
(These blocks can be used, but they cannot be single because they will not work properly on 1.12)

How to Submit?

You can build the map on our Map Maker World. Get there through the play menu or by typing /warp maps
Just tell us your username and we can copy it over to the beta testing area very quicky!
You can also build the map on our Creative server!

Submission Format:
  • Username
  • Map name
  • Photos of your Parkour
  • The # of your Plot / or warp name to it
  • Difficulty (Easy, Medium, Hard, Expert, Insane)
  • Number of jumps (Optional)

What happens next?

We will then look over the course and see if it meets our standards. If the course is well-done we will add it to Parkourse in the proper category and give you credit at the start and finish of the course. If you successfully submit 3 courses you will receive the [Mapper] Rank.

The Mapper rank inherits all of VIP Perks and gets access to Beta Courses. You also get a cool prefix!

Building Tips

If you're aiming for a specific difficulty, try to make this many jumps:

Easy: 20+ jumps (no difficult jumps either, like neos)
Medium: 40+ jumps
Hard: 65+ jumps
Expert: 85+ jumps
Insane: 120+ jumps

When making checkpoint signs on your map, please put "Checkpoint" on the first line and nothing else.

Please avoid annoying barrier block placement, and try to use a replacement block instead whenever possible.
The reason being is Parkour is in adventure mode, meaning you cannot see the outline of barriers, making some courses extremely annoying to play on. Thanks!

Edit: You can still use barriers to block off skipping parts of the maps, but try to make them not interfere with someones legitimate jump, or have them right next to the player unless there is a sign stating there's barrier blocks.

Putting "Checkpoint" on the second line of a sign makes it tedious for us to replace the checkpoint sign with the proper format, as we have to use worldedit to remove it on the live server (We cannot hand break checkpoint signs). If you put "Checkpoint" on the first line of a sign, it will not register as a checkpoint and allow us to easily replace it
