Not complaining but what can we do to fix it?

So I'm rather new to this server and i really like it but as of the last 2 days the lag has become horrific. does the server ever do restarts? or how do we clear this up? i know there is an entity clearing thingy but ya. like the music is lagging even and the sky keeps jumping back. i don't think its my internet i have 180 down and 10 up.

It is most likely your ping, I am on all the time, no lag whatsoever.

hmmm how does one tell what their ping is?
[DOUBLEPOST=1466984751][/DOUBLEPOST]ok so i googled it... i went to the multiplayer page and hit refresh a few times and hovered over the connection bars... im sitting between 60 and 70ms for ping... is this good or bad?
