Can this option be returned? It's really annoying when you're trying to do a course and million other people block your view. :/ Switching players off was really useful thing.
You can do /visibility hide and that’ll hide everyone, you can do /visibility show and that’ll show everyone. This might glitch sometimes, so you may have to relog.

As the error message says, they are working on a 'friend' mode which I think is a really good idea.
Alternatively, you could do as JuanitoG suggested.
