Please remove so that the grass won't spread, for example when there are blocks standing ontop of the grass layer, the grass changes to dirt, and when there are grass blocks next to dirt, the dirt changes to grass block.

This is annoying very annoying.

Try using coarse dirt, it's essentially the same as dirt but grass won't spread to it.
