Reduce Lag?

Every now and then, I will get huge lag spikes and drop tons of frames while on Olympus Prison. I was wondering whether this was just my computer being a potato, or whether it's something to do with my game that can be fixed. If anyone could give me some suggestions to stop this from occurring, that would be awesome, thanks! <3

It depends on your graphics card, RAM and CPU, this also is accompanied by what chunk you are in, for example if you are in a chunk with spawners you will lag more than you do in a chunk without them, if you can record this happening then I might be able to assist you further, other than that, that's all I can say.

there is always 8-10 tps which can make it lag as well and the amount of spawners everyone has
