Yea I think that'll be a great idea. Maybe make it as expensive as wheat or a little more since carrots and potatos are harder to get, but not too much because you'd be able to farm a lot of them over time.
Maybe, but for a simple 70k you could get a villager spawner and trade potatoes carrots and more for emeralds, and also trade the emeralds for things you can sell - just a thought though shop sell would be nice :)
