So I can't put my riptide book on my Trident

So basically I can't use the anvil to put a riptide III book on my trident. The book was fished up and it has riptide 3 and power 4. Why can't I put it on the Trident?

Yes it has Impailing 3 Loyalty 3 Unbreaking 3 and Mending

No it just shows the x

It's probably got the Max amount of enchants on it then maybe? I don't see any trident's with anymore than 4 ;o

Actually um it's still not working even after I removed the mending. I tried adding channeling and it worked but riptide still doesn't

loyalty and riptide can't go together
