As I do understand your frustrations here, when you mine a ore and it burns in lava the staff team can't do anything about it. That's just vanilla Minecraft mechanics. The only ore that would not burn is ancient debris, which requires some of the highest tier islands to see them spawn in. As well, it sort of make sures that new players can't afk macro the farm, since if they do the materials will burn.
You can, however, place a hopper beneath the block your mining, or beneath both the water and the lava to ensure that the item goes into the hopper. This usually works for me, but you'll get maybe 1 or 2 occasional ore, that'll burn. That's the only way I can think of, that can resolve your problem.
