Survival Events

Hey, I'm feeling right now that survival is becoming a bit
Bland. I was hoping that we could maybe hold some kind of event. I'm not really sure what we would hold by any suggestions are welcome below.

Maybe a PvP tournament or a game where there is a big block of stone that has certain ores in it and whoever can get the most resources wins!

We try to do events on all servers, however it's a bit challenging with survival. If we do PvP, a lot of people who are not interesting in or are not skilled at PvP will feel left out and they won't have a fair chance of winning the event, and in some cases even participating. There are a lot of people to include in Survival events, and it's very hard trying to get a nice thing going and a unique idea sparked. I have a thread lost in the Survival forums somewhere where people can suggest ideas for events.
