The Drop?

I'm sorry if you guys get asked this question a lot, but I have found nothing on it. I am wondering about The Drop. I have a few questions about it.
1. What is The Drop? Is it going to be a dropper? Or a dropper like gamemode?
2. When should The Drop come out?
3. If It is like a dropper type game mode, will you be able to make maps for it?
These are all my questions regarding The Drop.

The Drop is in fact a dropper! There are two types of dropper. Solo, which you play by yourself and can earn gems, or competitive where you play against others to earn gems. The Drop is out now! You may be able to make your own maps, maybe ask a staff member!
