Tutorials#1 Auto Cactus Farm

Hi everyone, I am Ben.
Today I wanna share the Full Auto Cactus Farm, let's go.

First of all, let's see what it looks like:

1. Water Placement
As we all know a water source block can flow water to 8 blocks away:

So we have to build the farm base length multiple of 8:

TIPS: no matter how big you build, you only need 2 buckets of water
cause a water source block will be created from a flowing block that is next to 2 or more other source blocks

2. Cactus Placement
A cactus block may only be placed on sand, and Sand, if there is no block below it, will fall until it lands on the next available block. so we have to place like this:

Cactus blocks break into item when a solid block is placed next to them, so we need to place a block here to make them auto break:

TIPS we use wall or fence instead of a block because cactus may fall on a block.

3. Finish it
We also can use a slab to place sand:

Use hopper to collect the cactus:

Press SHIFT and right click the chest to let the hopper face to the chest:
