I've noticed that most villagers despawn and that if you are able to keep them from despawning (with the use of costly name tags) that most of their trades don't refresh, in vanilla Minecraft villagers are not supposed to despawn on their own and do not run out of trades quickly, last season I was able to make a functioning trading hall that dealed with none of these bugs, is this a new feature or a glitch? Has anyone else ran into this problem?

I’m very sorry for the inconvenience, however villagers not refreshing/updating their trades is a common issue, and is something we believe is global, as it also seems to be happening on Survival, and possibly elsewhere. I can assure you this has been reported, and will hopefully be looked into sometime in the near future.
As far as villagers despawning goes, I’m not sure if this is known or not, so I will report this to make sure. Have a nice day/night!

If you dont trade with villagers in a while I have noticed that they despawn. May have something to do with that @Hallowqueen ?
