What is your chunk render distance ?

I would like to know what you guys reader distance =)
How to find it : Game Menu --> Options --> Video settings --> Render Distance : ?? chunks

Usually 14, 16 or 18. Depends on what I’m doing at the moment. :)

I play on 12 chunks.
I like the play with maxed out details but that lowers fps, so 12 chunks is where I found a sweet spot.

I use a small one. My laptop is kinda bad since its 5 years old and i wanna play minecraft so i don't want it to be junky and like lag everytime so i keep all my settings to low to atleast get 100-200 fps.

I read somewhere (can't find the link atm) about servers having set render distances and it's usually 16. Not sure what this servers is but on many servers you can't render above 16 chunks.
