Why do you want to become staff?
I want to become staff to help new players and to prevent any misconduct on the server. Throughout playing on manacube, ive seen new players in need of help and also misconduct, such as bullying and/or any other misconduct going against manacubes rules. I want to help new players with whatever they need, and i also want to keep players from breaking the rules in game.
How long have you played on ManaCube?
Ive played on manacube since about 2019/2020. I first found the server from a server list site when looking for a fun server to make new friends and hang out.
How many hours a week can you dedicate to Manacube? I can dedicate about 3-4 hours a day, or about 21-28 hours a week some weeks, but others about 2-3 hours a day or 14-21 hours a week. This is taking into account my school, and I also throughout the day help my mother with various tasks due to her lupus and fibro. Lately ive been a bit busy and havent had much time to get on the server, but my weeks have been clearing up. I will also be on more often during weekends, holidays, and school breaks.
What skills do you feel you have that will help the server?
I feel i can help the server with my abilities to help and welcome new players while also keeping misconduct to a minimum. I feel with my communication skills i will be a real help to new players, and/or anyone else who would need my help. I can look over in game commands and memorize them as tho help anybody with finding the proper commands to use in game. I have also in the past created my own server and have experience with plugins and the server making process, i did evntually abandon the project though
What experiences have you had which could help you as staff? I havent had much staff experiences, but i am a great leader and/or follower. Ive gone through many academic programs, groups, and teams, and feel i have what it takes to be staff. Ive created and modded many groups and discord servers, and have even made my own minecraft server. During the making of my server, i did eventaully abandon the project due to money issues.
What three attributes distinguish yourself from other players that qualify you to be a helper?
The three attributes i feel distinguish myself from other players that qualify me to be a helper is my intellect, i know alot about the server, especially creative and survival, those having been my mains for all these years, and my overall intellect. I know alot about the server and also have intellect useful in real world situations and or solving problems. communication skills, i am good at communicating, and feel this could help the server and can easily communicate with new players and/or long lasting members. Lastly, my ability to think through difficult situations/be a good problem solver and leader. I can solve issues and problems being had on the server such as bullying, fighting, and overall problems and issues.
Please explain what you believe the role of a staff member is.
I believe the role of a staff member is to always help those in need, and make the server a fun and nonviolent place for everyone. As a staff member you should help players/members in need of assistance, and/or help decrease the amount of misconduct to make the game fun for everyone, not discriminating and punishing members behaving badly according to what their wrong doing is and the level of severity of their misconduct will determine the severity of their consequence. The server should be a fun place for everyone to play.
Are you able to use recording software? Yes, i can use recording software such as obs studio, but my computer isnt the best and the recording will not be the best, but i can record.
Anything else we should know?
I do not own an operating mic for pc, but can use the mic on my phone. I can talk on calls and voicechats through discord, or other platforms from mobile at specific times. Manacube has been a big part of my life for some years now. I have been offline for a while, time to time, being busy, but ive spent countless hours on the server, and have spent lots of money on multiple accounts for new ranks, and other stuff. Somewhere along the way, manacube even inspired me to make my own server. Though i did abandon the project due to money issues. I wanted to make a server similar to manacube, a place fun for all kinds of people. Thats how manacube inspired me. One day i hope to once again attempt to make my own server, or to eventually finish making a game ive been working on making with my dad.
