We've been working on the 3.0 update for parkour, which includes some things resetting

I'm not sure what the community wants though. The new ranks and prestiges require more than just mana, for example one of them also requires completing 100 easy, medium & hard maps. We could still do this without having to reset Parkour Log.

There is tons of mana and items in circulation though, and a reset would allow us to balance this much better.

Please share what you are wanting from this update

Poll Option 1:
- Reset everything
- Keep season vaults, map maker world

Poll Option 2:
- Reset items, mana, ranks, prestiges, parkour log
- Keep stats, season vaults, map maker world

Poll Option 3:
- Reset items, mana, ranks, prestiges
- Have 2 versions of Parkour Log, one of which that never resets
- Keep stats, season vaults, map maker world

Poll Option 4:
- Reset nothing

Poll Option 5:
- Other (discussion)

UPDATE
Based on discussions in-game and this thread, I think this is the most likely conclusion

- Stats/Parkourlog separated into "All-Time" and "Seasonal"
(Alltime wont ever reset, seasonal will)

- Rankups, prestiges will need to reset because these have been revamped

- Mana and ender pearls will reset, and crates etc. will be rebalanced

- Nothing else will reset, you'll keep your inventories, vaults, echests, perks, titles etc

I would be interested to hear more details about Option 3, the two versions of Parkour Log. If there was a "legacy leaderboard" and stats from this season, that you could view, that would be a good compromise towards resetting everything.

I think that the most that is reset, the better the update can be. But those of us who have been playing for years need to be able to see our stats, even if they're just antiquated and "legacy".

Also: unique completions and progress towards checkmark needs to carry over.

edit: oops everyone just said that

As someone with way too many hours, I wouldn't mind a full wipe of all stats and maps as long as they are written down somewhere (/profile). But I know people wouldn't appreciate the log being reset if they are working hard to complete it, so I think option 3 would be the best.

i dont know what the difference between 1 and 2 is but im for 2 since i dont mind rebeating all the maps

resets worth it to fix years worth of issues with the economy

if people dont wish to rebeat stuff theres always new monthly maps to play that will eventually get you up to max rank

I realize this is a big deal and i probably have some of the most money invested into things affected by this update/reset. I’m my opinion i say reset everything besides player vaults and titles. For me, cosmetics and fun items as well as historic titles are great and helps mana feel special. Parkour log, mana, completions, prestiges and score could all be reset. I hope my opinion helps your decisions as admins and I’m looking forward to seeing the results :)

Anything, as long as you keep a legacy stats that you can view. That's all I ask for since I spent 1900 hours to get 40 prestiges.

I am voting for option 3 under the assumption that all progress towards checkmark will be kept as I don't think I could carry on playing having lost hundreds of hours worth of progress towards getting it

honestly the only thing most people care about is individual map completions because some maps took people lots of effort to complete. if those were kept and everything else like items and mana were wiped, i wouldn’t really mind.

(so vote 3 smile)

I honestly wouldn’t mind everything else being reset but personally I’ve worked too hard for unique completions for that to be reset and as a lot said above so have they. Fixing the mana economy with a full reset on items and mana would be ideal in my opinion c:

I think Option 3 seems best. It’s definitely time for an update but I do agree with everyone that map completions should stay. It’d be a pain in the ass to go through all of that again… On the other hand could be refreshing ig? Anyways just a request that if everything gets reset that we have some sort of way of seeing previous stats or the years we’ve played - can’t wait to be [noob] again

Keep checkmark progress. Keep season vault items (and things that people paid for like titles, colors, etc). Keep legacy stats.
And bring on that sweet, sweet, mapper progression, ty
