New Anti Cheat
Our new anti-cheat has been released today, and is currently on KitPvP, Skywars and Barebones. We will be adding it to all servers in the coming week, as well as making any needed changes/tweaks. Once we are 100% confident in it, we will start auto banning hackers as well!
We will be keeping the name VAC [Vast Anti Cheat], and will be giving more tools to our moderators in the coming week to catch/punish hackers with ease.

Hex Blocks
Remember when I announced Hex Chests last week? Well we're changing them now due to some complications.
Hex Blocks are a magical infused block that when placed, keeps that entire chunk loaded forever! You can mine the Hex Block and replace it as many times as you'd like.
Why would I want a chunk to be loaded forever?
When a Hex Block is in a chunk (16x256x16), that area acts as if an online player is there - meaning mobs will not de-spawn, farms will continue to grow, cactus will continue to drop, grinders will continue to operate, etc. etc.
We are also removing permanent AFK immunity, and giving 3 Hour AFK immunity instead. (You can AFK for up to 3 hours before being kicked, instead of the default 5-10 minutes)
Hex Blocks will be released sometime tonight, or early tomorrow morning (Follow us on Twitter to be notified when)
The price will be $12.00 (since these can be very profitable for things like Iron Golem grinders)
They will be $6.00 (50% off) for the first week, and will be available in the Black Market category on our Web Store
Double Rewards Week
From January 1st to January 8th, voting rewards on all servers are doubled! Type /vote to vote
We will also be giving away a 2013 Minecon Cape on January 8th. We will pick a random winner based off votes. (The more votes you have, the higher chance you have of winning! [sort of like raffles])
