What is better, Haste or Efficiency?
Both is important but you only need Haste 5 and Eff 15 to instant break blocks WHILE flying.. so it is no use to further upgrade it besides the #FLEX

I’d probably say haste, as you can use it on any single tool, where as for efficiency, it’s only for a single tool.

Personally, I’d say haste is better since you need it to mine while flying. High levels of efficiency don’t make a huge difference unless you spend a lot of mana, and trench needs little to no levels of efficiency to work effectively.
I personally agree that haste is more mobile, so that you can run and jump while mining unlike efficiency.

Personally, I think they’re better together than choosing any one enchantment.

Of course they’re both useful on their own and do different things, but together they definitely make mining more fun, and easy!

This is true for the purposes of mining.

If you want to use your pickaxe for things other than mining, additional haste levels will let you break non-primarily-pick-minable blocks (e.g. wood, sand, cactus, glass), faster. Additional levels of efficiency do not help you break blocks that the tool is not designed to break. So if you need to clear a bunch of poorly placed glass, your best bet is doing so with a haste 20 pick.
