how do i unclaim land in survival

Hello,
You can use the command /p unclaim to unclaim the land you own.

Hey! A tip to help you even more, you can press F3 and G in versions like 1.15 so you can see which in specific chunk you unclaim. Also make note that if you unclaim it, it may get griefed!

As @Mellysz Already said, you after need to perform the command /p unclaim or /party unclaim.

You can check your party claims with /p map :)
