Idk what happened but I lost all my stuff

I just joined factions, and I asked in chat why I spawned in complete flat land in all directions. Someone teleported to me, and told me to dig a hole. I did as I was asked and the person followed me in and killed me. After said person went into an ender chest, said "NOOB" and "I HATE NOOBS". I think he stole all my stuff. Bruh.
