Does this mean im banned forever or i get to get back in a month because i really didn't know i just told people the server i was gonna go play on

It should say however long you're banned for when you try and connect to the server.

it didnt say it says you have been banned for 23 - 01 - 2016 at 17:20 by drakey for advertisinfg

Advertising is a perm ban. You wont be coming back, I suggest to make an appeal.
