Lower the Shout Cooldown

please god, we already spent like 200 bucks on this rank, the least they can do is make it less then 10 whole minutes to shout. i understand the need for a cooldown cause it keeps out spam but like... 10 minutes is excessive. imo it should be 5 at most. am i an idiot? probably, but feel free to tell me why.

Since I'm no ELITE I'm not directly affected but 10 minutes cooldown seems pretty over the top.

I don’t think they are gonna lower it because 10 minutes is like ideal for shouts considering everyone in the server sees them. But I won’t complain if they lowered it.

I think a 10 minute cooldown is good. Back when Elite got released it didn’t have a cooldown at all and it was a mess. 10 minutes seems solid to me

Nah, 10 minutes is a good cooldown, if the cooldown were to get lowered it could make chat more spammy... I mean, have you seen how h o t shout can get...? Super hot.
Still waiting for a way to hide shouts...

YO. appreciate the responses (except you @4thForce dont debunk my logic with facts ever again) and I probs should've been more specific; the cooldown ain't just gonna not exist or be like 2 minutes, but like maybe 5-7 minutes cause when you think about it its kinda just a super chat. but yeah i get yall points and it makes sense so keep using this thread i beg of you i haven't had an active thread in years

Plus, people don't even use shout that often, but when we do, we end up finding another thing to shout while waiting for the cooldown to finish.

Tbh I'd say anywhere from 5-10 minutes is fine as not every ELITE shouts the second their cooldown ends.

i think it it is fine as it is, cuz like the whole server can see it and imo there is already alot of chatspam on certain servers

Shouts can be annoying sometimes though. I feel like if the cooldown was to be lowered, a command to ignore shouts should be added along with it.
