Well, in order to get 9-chunker, you need to get the money for it. Yes, trading heads is good. Main thing I would suggest, which most players did on the first few days of reset, would be to farm tons and tons carrots.

Other than that, if you're lucky, you can get money pouches on boss drops. But that may require good armor and consistency in hitting the boss.
