I made a map, the enter is not centered, but thats easy fixable, by just moving everything to the right by 8 blocks, some jumps may be a little tricky for difficulty hard, like one block up neo, but on those you dont have to fully reset so its fine :)

You have to put a way for judges to see your map by putting the plot command in I think. anyway theme sounds unoriginal

idk the guy probably just didn't realize it was supposed to be a "big deal", the most popular easy maps, which most new players play, are so low quality

the first map idea I had was so terrible and it was already done like 8x, I think everyone starts somewhere, there's no point in calling him a noob or anything

why you call me noob for no reason? you idiot man, Im so new to the server, and dont know where to look up maps or anything, i asked in chat where i can build one and did that. Im probably better at parkour than you in the end....... just new to the god damn server and you brag about it. Yes it is low effort, but other maps partly also are that i played, so? the jumps still are fine

It's okay, do not feel personally attacked, it's just a trivial forum reply. You seem keen to make parkour maps and that is great! Here are some tips for you to start making parkour maps that you may or may not find useful.

When picking a theme for your parkour/build, make sure it is original. This means you have to avoid doing any themes that have been done before. You can check this by visiting the Parkour Map List and searching for your ideas. This document has a lot of other useful information too so be sure to check it out. For instance, the theme/category pirate is already used a fair amount; it is highly impractical to submit a new map using that theme. Maybe try something from an obscure piece of media.

Then, when you want to submit your map, post in the Map Submissions section as you have already done but make sure you follow this guide and template. This will allow judges and other players to view your map and give you helpful advice and feedback.

I wish you the best with your future map making :)

Hello!

Unfortunately, your map is being REJECTED!
Thank has explained some great things above!
The theme is unoriginal, as we already have pirate/pirate ship maps.

The build itself does lack texture and details! Use things such as stairs/slabs, etc to shape your build further. In addition, it does look quite messy due to the separate platforms. Use a main build/island which you can path your parkour round!

The parkour itself did lack in variation and was repetitive. Use more variation such as water, piston bases, daylight sensors, cocoa beans, heads, glass panes, vines, trapdoors, minecarts, doors, etc to space out your variation more!

We hope to see more maps from you in the future.
Have a good day/night
