Rewards for task crates are exceptionally underwhelming for players who are late-game or do not need things such as spyglasses, anvils, or basic enchant books. I've already suggested a change in the loot tables with staff members, most of which have told me that there will likely not be many changes to the Task crate rewards.
However, there is an existing 10% chance of receiving the legendary tier, which has Ancient Crate Keys, however I've only received one or two keys this way.
My suggestion is (to both incentivize completing tasks while also maintaining a level of fairness, and not flood survival with more crate keys) have a reward of one ancient crate key for each 50-100 tasks completed, or if even that is too generous, having a reward of an ancient crate key for each 50 tasks in a streak. (1 key for a streak of 50, 1 key for a streak of 100, 1 key for a streak of 150, etc.)
By implementing this reward system, on top of the task crates, players may be more likely to actively work towards completing more tasks, and give more purpose to grinding frustrating things like actually completing obnoxious tasks such as 100+ kills in burning lands or icehaven, etc. or fishing for 1 particular fish. It would give much more satisfaction to actually working towards completing otherwise ridiculous tasks.
Thank you for your time and consideration, and I hope to hear other suggestions or constructive criticisms.
I am well aware that the implementation of such a system would highly favor myself, if we are compensated for how many tasks we've already completed. I cannot speak for others who are also near the top of the leaderboard for tasks, but I have no interest in being compensated for my past completed quests so long as I'm rewarded for the ones I complete in the future. (However, my highest task streak atm is 42)
