Throughout this season players have complained about Pvp on survival.
Whether it is people who use invis pots to it being to hard or too easy to kill players.etc.

Players had the option to fight on Icehaven where it was keep inventory and from watching it was a great event to watch players fight each other with the added bonus of having Manamobs in the mix to deal with also.

The introduction of the Abyss was created because a great majority of the player base complained about the previous Pvp Pit.
The Abyss then isnt being used because its NOT what the player base want or like!

There is a concensous that the Cubit Economy has fallen in regards to Holy Scroll sales and Souls are not being collected to get those scrolls.
The player base has had plenty of opportunity to address the changes and the following are some of the posts created about PVP.

Id like to see the player base actually give constructive ideas on WHAT YOU REALLY WANT in a PvP pit. And WHY!!!!
I want to hear what type of PVP pit design you think best suits Survival Players.

Do you want one that adds challenges and makes it more fun to try to catch the player to attack. [ ex: having the tower back in middle or some sort of small raised areas located in the pit so players have to jump on them ] or do you want it to remain flat as it is now!

Do you think there should be two seperate PVP pits clearly labled either side of spawn to allow for peaceful pvp and full item drop on death?

I want to hear WHAT YOU think is wrong with the ABYSS and how You think the Abyss could be fixed or what possible use it could have for either PVP or another function.

Simple saying "but i want it back to how it was" isnt helpful as it does not say Exactly what you as an individual Pvp Player or Group of players really expect to see in the Arena.

Keep suggestions and feedback appropriate as laid out by the Manacube RULES so that we can see exactly what you all want .

SURVIVAL IDEAS FOR THE NEW SEASON

So players here is your chance to also add what youd like to see or happen when a new season is released. Please be respectful with your posts and try to not cause drama with replying to another members post. Remember at the end of the day we all want to play and have a fulfilling and fun experience!

Keep suggestions and feedback appropriate as laid out by the Manacube RULES so that we can see exactly what you all want .

I first off as many before have complained, want keep inventory to be turned off as it ruins the holy scroll economy, makes pvping near pointless, no more can you be happy someone forget to holy their svas and gain some new items, no more can pvp be actually enjoyed, it just feels like a P2W version of /duels which while it was still p2w at least you could win back then, not much win nowadays

Second, please someone do something about invis players, its really annoying seeing players who can only be seen by some vague particles come in and chill, sometimes even throwing potions to annoy you as they don't combat tag, and this would especially be a problem if keep inventory was disabled as some players used to chill in PVP invis, and as soon as someone died they'd all come in and try to take the stuff.

Third, i don't think many would agree but i really wish elytra pvp was more accepted, i want players to be able to fly with elytra with combat tag, just disable fireworks when tagged so they cant stall it out.

Fourth, regarding the abyss, i think it should be in spawn as val said, but also shrunken down a lot as it makes running away near inevitable, not only that but the back side has this weird terrain-y thing and most players like myself cant tell where does the PVP zone end, or if the entire thing is pvp enabled, i also think the ladder is wayyy too tall/the pit is wayyy too deep for any genuine chance of escaping, if you ever used a blaster or even know what it is you can instantly tell escaping pvp unharmed has to be without the ladder if your opponent has one (whether you use a double/triple jump item, or an elytra), my point is the ladder is near useless in abyss and it only makes it harder to leave. and there's vines on the ceiling where you can camp up there and shoot people from above.

Fifth, this is a MASSIVE request I've seen many talk about, bring back 1.16 pvp, 1.8 pvp is made so it not only rewards people with better mouses/can click faster, but it also rewards people for using an autoclicker, AND it makes some weapons like the mystery hammer super broken for how spammable it is, i think myself and many others prefer pvp to be more strategy-based and not just "hehe fast click go brrr".

Sixth, please enable cosmetics in the arena, last season there were bugs regarding cosmetics but you can just disable rides and morphs, i wanna use /particle or /status inside the PVP arena.

Seventh, buff lucille, I'm tired of saying this but i really am pissed lucilles slowness is the same slowness as the one from ice aspect (slowness 2) and its only for 5 seconds, sometimes i hit someone with it to knock them away giving me a chance to run but they hit me with ice aspect making us the same speed, which ends up in me dying because they caught up to me, either make it slowness 3-4 or make it for longer, hell make it both, slowness 3 for 7-10s or something, just make this weapon relevant.

Eighth, slightly nerf popsicle, I'm sorry but being able to launch urself anywhere at insane speeds every 5 seconds is just nuts, make the cooldown 10 seconds for the love of god, i have to either have a popsicle of my own or somehow preemptively predict where they're gonna go and barely make it to them in time.

Ninth, Mace and Medusa hair need to be nerfed, I'm sorry but being unable to move for 10 seconds is ungodly broken and needs to be fixed, you either have to gap spam and pray they don't have a blaster or suffer the consequences.

Tenth, Idk how to fix this one but i feel pvp is wayyy too centered around who can get the first totem pop, if you do your enemy is at low hp and has to manually put a new totem giving you enough time to almost pop the new one, and you're just gonna end up in this cycle of popping totems until they die

sorry for the super long post i have a lot on my mind, i hope this helps

So I agree its controversial on pvp and keep inventory on/off. Some things I would like to see are

1) 2 Arenas in the hub opposite sides so as not to cause confusion on which is and isn't keep inventory. Maybe /warp pvp (drop inv) and /warp practice (keep inv)
2) Arenas that change I think lots of us agree that although we like certain things in the arena it gets boring to have the same arena for a while. I think it would be cool to have a structure in the keep inventory one and maybe themed with monthly crates. On the drop inventory one it would be best mostly be open and flat. Still could change the floor pattern out or have a hanging structure for aesthetics.
3) Having pvp encourages Holy scrolls. As Val mentioned it was a good source of money for new players and the fancy p2w players would but them for cubits so a way newer players could make money. I know several players that left playing after the pvp change as that was thier source of income/cubits form ranks and stuff.
4) Would love to have a pay out monthly for pvp doesn't have to be much but maybe it only counts deaths in the drop inventory one. could be something even like a crate key like lps 1-3 or something just a way to have bragging rights and keep the season interesting after a while when everything is afk. Or even like there are trophies for top 5 parties maybe top 5 kills per month gets a ⚔ with the number of months they have won. Just a suggestion
5) As someone who plays regularly in 1.16 please leave it 1.8 pvp
6) As End mentioned the issue people have with invisible players are that it is just done to troll. It serves no purpose but to annoy the players. Unfortunately I don't know how this could be fixed though as pots are still needed in pvp. The other annoying thing I see alot is combat tagging over and over. What I mean is I can kill someone and before my combat tag has expired they are running back into pit. Makes it hard to get out. I would love to see a delay before entering pit or at least a reduction in the combat tag to maybe 10 secs

The abyss was a cool Idea however I think it failed for a few reasons. It is large. Not easily visible so out of the way to go to it. and really deep and there was fall damage. The only thing I think a few of us really did like was the ability to see from a safe area. kind of nice to spectate the cool fights.

Other thought that may be intresting is like how kit has KOTH it would be cool to have some event like that and/or more lps times. I know with the current 2 times I miss both for work as they are close together and during most work/school hours for lots of the bigger regions

This may be just repeating what others may have said but these are my own thoughts. There should be two pits, safe, and full pvp.
Full PVP is full inventory dropped when killed, unless your stuff is holied.
Safe PvP is more tailored towards newer players with less gear and those who cannot afford holies. Only Golden Apples and Potions would be dropped.
The problem with Abyss, in my personal opinion, is that you don't know anyone is even in there, and most people when they run past pit, just run to see whos in there, and then simply go from there.
2nd of all, Autoclicking. It's there and it's used. Simply put, there is no skill involved with PvP at the moment since, it's just whoever can click the fastest. It's still possible to kill said person, but with the decreased knockback, your just getting combo'ed until you are either almost dead, or they make a mistake.

Also with the ladders, don't TP them back to the ladder, tp them to the ground, because if you're tagged there, it's almost impossible to get out unless you can withstand the damage and knockback.

i agree with everything you say except the autoclicking thing, as i have been informed by steph in earth its 1.16 pvp and fights last forever since you can regen faster when hits arent consecutive, the only main way to deal dmg is which blasters

Here is suggestion based on no keep inventory PVP arena.

1. Invisible
Invisible always been a crucial part of PVP.
it provides more chances to kill another player who bring armor/weapons.
It's expensive and uneffective to make a lot of invisible potions to trolling someone.

2. PVP Economic/balance analysis.
There is a list of items which related no keep inventory PVP:
Normal/Stardard Armor/Weapons:
Example: Slayer Set, Improved mana set, inferno sword. etc.
Normal/Stardard SVA Armor/Weapons: No bonus for actual pvp svas
Player Effect based on: Potions, Enchantments
Example: spongebob boots, iron man suit etc.
Primary SVA Armor/Weapons: It requires skills to fight others, still not powerful enough.
Player Effect based on: Potions, Enchantments, few effects from svas like saturation.
Example: shooting star bow, templar shield, captain america's shield, pandora's box etc.
Senior SVA Armor/Weapons: Mostly initiative effects, and it's balance when someone also has it.
Player Effect based on: Potions, Enchantments, some useful effects from svas like: passive strength from weapons, instant health etc.
Example: chainmail set, infinity gauntlet, cocktail, witchdoctor's staff, popsicle, lucille, phoenix chestplate etc.
Super SVA Armor/Weapons: Powerful passive effects, it's BREAKING balance and destroying other's experience of play.
Player Effect based on: Enchantments, powerful effects and infinity time from svas like: passive strength and regeneration from armor.
Example: dragon helmet. ero leggings, ero boots. groundon sword, tunic chestplate, zurg blaster etc.
The prices based on the degrees of power.

at now, there is no balance for most people.
because someone who has Super SVA Armor/Weapons are dominating the arena.
there is many holy scroll so nobody could against them except they also has Super SVA Armor/Weapons
And what is the price of Super SVA Armor/Weapons ? 200cubits, 300cubits, even 400cubits.
The biggest problem is not whether pvp had a tower, big or small.
So my suggestion is: make pit to no keep inventory, weaken the Super SVA Armor/Weapons.
promote economy developing, improve the playing experience of poor.

3. Thread Effectivity
I believe that only few people will see this thread and reply here to give some suggestion for new pvp.
Example, my friend who from china, it's not able to access forums if you don't have a VPN.
It's pointless, to collect more ideas requires more exposure.

We work for people, We shall never surrender!

Regarding your first point on invisibility, arent invis potions useless if youre wearing armor, and if you arent wearing armor you arent really fighting? Plus if you use invis potions to “fight” all you gain is landing a few poison potions and escaping, there is no “more chance to kill another player”

and while i understand your frustration with “super svas” you do realize their rarity and value is also what brings manacube alot of money? And besides that it would cause an economic crisis if dragon helmet was strength 1 instead of 2, or regen 1 instead of 2, and thats for 2 items, if they nerf every single good weapon not only would it crash the economy but every player with said svas would lose everything they worked/paid for, i believe it is unjust to do so.

About invisible, it's expensive than you think to make some potions to throw someone else.
I think it's no longer need it because few people are being more and more rich faster who has Super SVA Armor/Weapons.
the actual is Super SVAs are breaking balance and economic.
Everyone knows this point, and we had enough.
Only few people had Super SVA Armor/Weapons, and they are dominating PVP arena.

the problem is not how powerful Super SVA Armor/Weapon it is.
the problem is no one could match their power who had Super SVAs.
Unless, they also had Super SVAs.

Solution example: new SVA Slience Stick
Effect: Clearout target's armor effects (30s).
Cooldown: 60s

PVP is for everyone, not few people.
We work for people, we shall never surrender!

super svas are breaking balance, NOT the economy, its existence only makes things that are worth it more expensive, and yes super svas are hard to match in power, isn't that kinda the point of trying to get the best armor? there will also be a best set, unless every single sva they release is the same and remove everything before, and your idea for an sva silence stick would also be a super sva that everyone would use, especially the strongest pvpers, it wont solve the problem but make it worse, classic cobra problem, trying to fix this will only make it worse

I don't have that many suggestions but the ones I would like to see are

1. If there are going to be 2 PVP zones disable leaderboards for the PVP zone that has keep inventory on. So that players who want to be seen on top kills will be more willing to jump into the real PVP zone where items drop.

2. Have a reward system for the top 5-10 spots on the leaderboard so that other players will compete to take another player's place for a higher reward.

3. Swapping abyss and spawn PVP around is a great suggestion having it natural as it was before is good and if players would like a less comp experience there will be a hologram displaying the keep inventory PVP warp.

that's all I got :P

I think pvp in survival has no sense. I mean, is it funny to kill nons without armor 24/7 in pit with your god set? What do you win? Nothing, I like pvp, I play all lps I can because it has an objective, but I hardly ever go pit, why should I? I think it would be more effective to do more pvp events than a useless pit. Why dont you add events like koth, team games to play with your party. Of course there will be a difference between people without stuff and people with stuff. Survival community likes pvp, people buys svas at crazy prices just because they can pvp with them, but the only purpose on buying the svas is to kill nons in pit. Its so easy, you can add pvp events every hour/ 2 hours and thats it. Il put an example:

00:00 Koth with kits
01:00 LPS with stuff
02:00 Team deathmatch 4v4 kits
03:00 Koth with stuff
04:00 LPS With kits
05:00 Team deathmatch 4v4 Stuff

And you keep doing the wheel while changing the events being with team of 1-2-3-4 and with kits or not, depending on the days, hours etc...

You add rewards and monthly rewards for best player, best party etc. Could this break the sensation of being a SURVIVAL? Maybe.
Does the economy work around the pvp effectiveness? Of course it does, the most expensive items arent pickaxes or shovels, that are sometimes even cheaper than a thematic crate.
Why does this happen? Some points need to be considered here
1-A big % of the loyal community likes to pvp and only joins survival to pvp
2- The objectives that survival gives to the community aren't enough to hold a hole year. No one does bosses or minibosses this days.
3- Some rewards need to be fixed. Staff told us in the survival announcement that task crates will be improved in a future, we are still waiting. LPS gives a ridicoulous amount of money. People has BILLIONS on they're account, a cubit is worth like 1.5B, and if you win LPS you get 50k money XD(and a legendary key which is a good reward). Minibosses gives you 25 souls, bosses gives you pouches from 100k to 300k.

I think survival needs a big update soon, give us more things to do, more objectives, and an easy way to pvp if the community likes to pvp.

Personally i don't PVP i just run the shops and supply souls etc which were needed when it was drop inv.My thoughts on invis potions in the arena are this, if you are in the pit to fight then you have armour on and invis will not work so the only reason you need them is to watch a fight wait for a death run in and steal the drops which the winner has earned, if you are in the pit and using invis potion you are not fighting and have no business there really. if armour is made weaker then there may as well be a complete armour ban as the problem will exist until all are equal, people who have the best armour have earned or paid for it so if you can't beat them don't fight them its simple, They will have equals who will fight them, yes they will dominate the Arena but they have earned the right to, you cannot complain because someone has better armour or weapons than you thats the idea of survival you build yourself up more until you can survive whether its a better house more shops or better armour

My thoughts on the PVP arena
When you changed it to no drop you not only took away the pvp you closed a chat shop.People would gather there to talk as they had bragging rights that they had earned, thats what you have taken away not just the PVP arena. I would say put it back as it was

I agree with your thought.
But the balance of armor/weapons is crucial part of pvp. just as your said earn the right.
It doesn't mean that the other people shall not able to fight and earn some rights.
We should give other people a chance, not just open pvp for few people who had imbalance SVAs.
Even they deposited a lot of money to got cubits in manacube, they still can not match someone's power who had Super SVAs.
In economic, they are losing everything in pvp. The fighting is hopeless, it's just give it to someone who had Super SVAS.

I agree with your thought.
But the balance of armor/weapons is crucial part of pvp. just as your said earn the right.
It doesn't mean that the other people shall not able to fight and earn some rights.
We should give other people a chance, not just open pvp for few people who had imbalance SVAs.

no, if you want a truly balanced pvp then they should remove svas altogether which they wont, also there's a reason the whole paying and getting cubits system exists, if i pay 4k USD and someone pays 0, why should we be the same unless they put enough time in the game to get there. why should i be dropped down when I'm the one spending my precious money on this server

There is no problem to got more power from cubits.
Super SVAs are breaking balance and economic, no one could match their power.
The point is no one could match their power. that's the problem. big problem.

There is an absolute advantage to power for someone who had Super SVAs.
You never could match their power unless you spent 1K USD to got a Super SVAs.
They are dominating the arena, and take all of other player's stuff in pit.

it's unfair to everyone even they paid a lot in manacube.

My party(Fusion, me and Alv) are free to play and we have +1300 cubits, god sets, god svas and a networth of our accounts of +10k cubits between the 3 of us and the only one who payed was alv, who bought mvp rank when we started. Also we have been playing for 1.5 years so we are not even old. Im not with you there, if you grind, you can buy super svas. I dont think it is a pay2win server. It can be pay2fast, but the only thing you cant get without paying is patron and patron+

the entire server is f2p whether paying is easier or not. its only p2w if some things are only accessible to those who pay which it isn't, they just keep whining about not having good stuff, so instead of getting better they try and make everyone worse.
