The glitch sword situation

Recently, a new sva item was added to manacube kitpvp, called the glitch sword. This sword had a 5% chance to scramble your target's hotbar when they are hit, with a 60 second cooldown. This item was initially very strong, and useful on release, however it was later taken a step further, with its 60s cooldown removed entirely. This item can easily kill someone who cannot switch to soups to heal, or switch to pearls to escape. This item is much much more powerful than any other item in the game, and makes using other svas or loot much riskier due to the fact that your hotbar can be scrambled 10 times in 1 minute, making it unmanagable. This item either needs to be reverted to a 60 second cooldown, or an even a higher cooldown, as scrambling your enemy's hotbar is much stronger than any other sva effect in the game.

adding a cooldown to it isnt possible. so do u happen to have any other suggestion?

How so? You can track item uses and block functions based on checks, so that would theoretically work?

if you cant balance it then remove it... you guys really want to kill your server even more over 1 sva item and 1k dollars in crate sales?

How do you add cooldowns to every other sva? but the most broken sva just so happens to not have one? If there can't be a cooldown it needs to be removed. I fought for a minute and a half the other day and my hotbar was scrambled 6 times. 6 times in 90 seconds. Fighting SVAS is already hard enough without having to worry about where your bow got placed. not to mention the second you get time to reorganize your hotbar they hit you 1 more time and its fucked again.

Hey, Niels was right as to the fact that that specific effect didn't support cooldowns at the time. We have since added the ability to add a cooldown and will be deploying this fix imminently. Appreciate the feedback :)
