Honestly, the longer you don't have one, the better. This might sound wrong/weird, but it's nothing that you can't live without. I got mine at 14.

I 100% agree with what Wings said. You don't need a cell phone until you're an adult.
I got my cell phone right before I turned 14, and that's only because I was going on a trip to Washington, D.C.
Trust me, you aren't missing out on much.

I got my phone when I was in 4th grade, so when I was 9 I got it. It was an iPhone 4 but I was not allowed to use it unless it was to contact a guardian, such as a parent or relative. If I wanted to play games, it would send a notification to my parents, and I would get it taken away for a week, so I never really used it to play games. To this day, I don’t use my phone to play games, even though I am allowed to. I only use it to text friends / parents, call on discord, and search on google / use forums.

So I'm pretty sure I was around 14 when I got my own phone, before I had a pretty crappy laptop and an iPod touch 4. Surprisingly I actually got it after my sister dropped her own phone onto the ground, she was on a monthly plan so she gave me her broken phone and stopped the plan, I mean I was quite lucky with an 8+

I was 8 years old when I got my first phone, quite earlier than some of you, huh. It was a black iPhone 4S. Of course, the only things I would do with it was post cringy things in Facebook and play games.

Well, I was around 9 when I got my first phone. I guess you already know what phone it is - Nokia of course. :)
I've replaced my phone about 5 times (yeah that's a lot). Currently using iPhone 11 :)
