Allow acrobatics mcmmo to be afkable

Hear me out ok?
Acrobatics is one of the slowest grinding mcmmo's because you cant do anything but acro for hours and hours if you want to max it. Once you hit level 1000 it starts slowing down so much, during the last levels it can take 10+ minutes to get 1 single level. Acro is already basically afk (all you do is fall and fall for HOURS) BUT we have to be here at our computer because afking acro is considered macroing on ManaCube.

Macros typically give an unfair advantage to the person using it right? But ANYONE can afk acro, there's many people who make public acro farms, therefor if it was allowed to be afk noone would have an unfair advantage, because literally anyone can just leave their computer running to fall for hours.

I 100% understand the point of mcmmo is to grind but lets be honest, you dont "grind" acro its just a waiting game. Many people in the community would like for it to be afkable because it doesn't make since that its not honestly.

So please consider allowing us to afk acrobatics!

Should be allowed. staff say its not the same as taming/repair (which is afkable) but it is the exact same, both things require some kind of building/machine to set up and then it's afk, there is 0 macro or key input required to do the skill, its simply just watching the screen and hearing ur legs snap every 3 seconds. At minimum the 3 second timer between falls should be removed as its already been proven that it is afkable even with the "anti afk features" enabled, its just a further unnecessary slow down to an already very slow skill.

not that this post even matter and will get zero staff attention, i do agree it should be afkable. there is no player input needed for one. and then theres all these extra steps needed to actualy farm acro. no one wants to watch and listen to their ankles snap for months untioll its maxed. allow the players to stand still on the damn machine please. we let players use 9 alts to boost the main account for making money but we can use our main to farm acro the same way. standing still doing nothing. #MakeAcroAFK

Why?

I totally agree that acro should be allowed to be AFKable considering how difficult it is to get to prestige 10. Making this AFK-able doesn't mean everything gets easier to achieve the main goal, it is still a stairway to hell for all of us. We received nerf after a nerf, which scares people away but at least, we can have a leeway considering how we wasted the first 2 months trying to find the design that works for the said: "Anti-AFK nerf".

Please hear the voice of your loyal player. This whole thread is written by people who are actively playing Skyblock, not some random people who stopped by for a few days before jumping off to another.

Staff says it shouldn't be afk-able because their is "other ways to obtain Acro levels" but at the same time taming is allowed to be afk even though there is ways to obtain taming levels such as constantly hitting hoglins and having your dogs attack them. For Acro its pretty much already afk but u have to constantly stare at your screen, and once u get to lvl 1100 and above it takes 2+ min to gain one level at the highest possible xp to earn, meaning players are just going to be sitting there for hours on end waiting for Acro since its such a big impact on mcmmo levels to prestige.

I'm currently dealing with an issue where it's not giving me acro xp due to the 3 second rule even at one of the acro farms that waits 3 seconds (apparently due to my ping). This makes it even harder to grind acro and even though I'm only at level 200 it took me 15 minutes to gain 4 levels. I would love for it to be AFK'able but at least remove this timer that makes it impossible for certain people to grind.

Acrobatics

Acrobatics is a skill focused around moving gracefully, reducing fall damage and avoiding attacks.
Experience Gain

Experience in Acrobatics is gained by taking fall damage, successfully rolling on the ground, or successfully dodging attacks.

120XP per half heart of damage is gained when taking fall damage. Assuming no damage is being reduced, it can also be calculated as (b - 3) * 120 where b is the amount of blocks fallen before taking damage. Any reduction of damage by use of hay bales, potions, enchantments etc. will reduce the amount of experience gained. If a roll or graceful roll as been executed, you will gain 80XP per half heart of damage instead of 120XP. This calculation uses the damage that would have been taken if you had not rolled.

Feather falling will double the amount of XP you earn from falling, regardless of its enchantment level. Keep in mind that feather falling will also reduce the amount of base damage dealt when you fall.

Dodging an attack will give 120XP per half heart of damage dodged. So if you dodged an attack that would have dealt you 3 damage, it would give you 360XP.
Anti Exploit

There is a config option found in experience.yml to prevent users from using AFK acrobatic farms that allow them to farm XP while AFK.

ExploitFix:
Acrobatics: true

A user will not gain experience if any of the following are true:

  • User is holding an enderpearl in their main hand while inside a vehicle.
  • User has teleported in the last 5 seconds
  • User has landed in the same spot at least once within the last 50 times they have fallen from a high place and gained mcMMO Acrobatics Experience

Additionally, after gaining experience from a fall, there will be a cooldown of 3 seconds before you may gain experience again. If you take more fall damage during this period, extra time is added to the cooldown, starting at an additional 10 seconds and increasing by 1 each time more fall damage is taken before the cooldown is over.


But as with all skills on Manacube that have been nerfed . . . the Exp has been Drasticly reduced for all skills so Manacube Intends for it to be a grind, give up on the AFK option, especially with the "User has landed in the same spot at least once within the last 50 times they have fallen" making acro farms a waste . .. go run and jump around the resource worlds

If acrobatics became AFKable then in some realms where you can view who's leading the combined MCMMO skills, it'd be less about who's putting in the most work and grinding, and just who has the best internet and PC that won't crash after AFKing for 100 or more hours.

My opinion does matter as someone who's consistently grinding MCMMO and doesn't want to be knocked off of mctop because of some random who's doing literally nothing except booting up minecraft and then sitting in their farm for hours on end to get 5938969 levels from doing literally nothing except having good internet so they don't get kicked and having a good PC that won't crash after running MC for hours on end. You may think I'm biased as someone who just wants to keep their leader board position, but many other highly-ranked players on Earth's mctop who also don't have good enough PCs or internet to AFK for 100s of hours just for some acrobatics levels probably also agree.

No, acrobatics shouldn't be able AFK-able. There has to be a more realistic ceiling than what MCMMO allows. If acrobatics became AFKable, then MCMMO levels among the top AFKers would be insurmountable for literally anyone who can't be AFK for that long. There has to be a more fair chance for players who can't be doing this, and keeping acrobatics un-AFKable is one of the ways we can keep AFKing balanced. As if Survival doesn't even have enough AFK alts on it as is too, lol.

ok so? when you're grinding acro manually you don't want to do it, so you'll do it for shorter periods of time. at one point your brain just can't take it and you'll force yourself to stop. with being able to just afk, ppl with very high-end internet and PCs will be afking for very long periods of time

you dont need to have a high tier pc u can also afk acro while playing minecraft on mobile tried myself

high tier pc makes it less likely for minecraft to crash.
i once afked for only like 3 hours (my fps limiter was on 70 btw) and when i came back it was running at like 12 frames.
i use low particles and stuff like that too

as for minecraft on mobile, are you referring to PickaxeChat?

k ive never heard of that mobile launcher, also toggling off particles might not do much tbh
