Hello Commodore here!
Thought I start a thread todo with my city build on survival!
Background -
So been playing on the server since 2018, always starting a project then never finishing it due to external factors, but lock down in my country has allowed me time to build and design this. I have always wanted to build a underground city so I started looking around for inspiration. I found many that have been built over ground and then covered (I did not like that) so alot of digging was to commence.
I eventually found an area far enough out where poeple won't be claiming that much as I needed space to expand my ideas. I then decided that the city was gonna be medival / fantasy style but with realism thrown in..... After that I went on youtube and found a few builds to which I found inspiration on to then expand in my own designs crossing that bridge!
The Goals -
So in starting this build I wanted to create a hub abit like Genesis or Exodus but actually have it as a city rather than a room, a pretty room but still a room. So I needed to create a world within itself! So in short here are my goals
- Create a immersive Build
- Create a place players want to go
- Create Shops / Grinder to make useful
- Create a story to be discovered
So with this being such a big build I have created phases/stages to complete here they are
Phase 1 is to build a castle and small entrance into the City (Complete)
Phase 2 is to build Grinders and small entertainment area (Complete)
Phase 3 is to build a dock and to connect other player built cities (In Progress)
Phase 4 is to create all the shops within the completed sections (In Progress)
Phase 5 is to create characters within the city bringing it to life (Not Started)
Phase 6 is to create a ruined city ontop (Not Started)
Phase 7 is to create a adventure map feel (In Progress)
Now -
So right now the city is open to be viewed we have a casino / theatre / grinders / some Shops. So it would be amazing to come see you down and exploreing I will attempt to update this thread as time goes on. Also might start a video series so let me know....
