- Fishing Update: All types of fish now have a specific world and biome where they can be caught, making fishing jobs easier to complete. See this List of fish and their locations. Plus you can now fish in Lava!
- Model Engine Update: Custom monsters and bosses are now very smooth and responsive. Visual issues like bones splitting have been fixed, and hitboxes can be fine-tuned. This is also much more performant for low-end computers & internet connection.
- Crafting Help: Right-Click any custom item that has a crafting recipe to open a GUI showing all the possible recipes. Additionally you can now unlock all vanilla recipes for the recipe book at spawn.

Preview
We've entirely revamped the Tangleroot world! This is the second world to unlock after Wolfhaven, requiring a total level of 100 to enter. You spawn in a great mysterious tree, ready to explore. Here is a glimpse:
New Mobs
- Updated Loot Tables for all mobs to have balanced loot for the new economy
- New Mob: Jumping Spiders
- New Mob: Dart Frogs
- New Mob: Volcanic Slime
- New Mob: Fireflies!
Catch fireflies with a firefly bottle (Purchaseable from the Tangleroot village). Your bottle can also be upgraded like we had on the Spring Festival.
River Dolphins
Navigate the world quickly by riding and controlling these speedy dolphins. Find them at any dock along the river system.
Tangled Maze
Discover the multi-layered mysterious maze hidden in the corner of the map. Avoid guardian mobs that teleport you if touched. Reach the end to open a mysterious chest (12-hour cooldown).
Ancient Trials
Find the new official location for the Ancient Trials minigame here!
Located to the west of the tree spawn, the village is populated and defended by Tangleroot villagers.

- Prospector: Sell resources you've mined from the Tangleroot world
- Firefly Merchant: Sell fireflies for souls and upgrade your firefly bottle
- Rare Merchant: Buy rare expensive items [Preview]
- Potion Master: Buy unique potions with custom effects

Train combat with the tough Tangleroot warriors. Earn rewards for each one you defeat.
Agility Course
Complete the daily parkour training course for a Jade Emerald reward! There is also a best time leaderboard for fun
Potion Master's Quest
Start ManaCube's first Main Quest here, featuring dialogue options, cutscenes, multiple stages, and beacon markers. The quest involves finding a secret recipe to create a potion that resists the intense heat inside the Volcano. Completion unlocks the “Volcanic Resistance” potion, allowing you to face the new Lava Beast boss. The quest takes about 30-90 minutes to complete.
Located on the northermost side of the world, the Volcano is a massive and dangerous area. There is mineable volcanic redstone scattered throughout the terrain. Battle Volcanic Slimes and reach the top to jump into the mouth of the volcano.
Without a Volcanic Resistance potion you'll take 1-2 damage per second.
There is also a minecart shortcut you can use for a Jade Emerald fee.
Eruption Event
Every 8 hours, experience a devasting eruption where thousands of volcanic magma blocks spew from the mouth, dealing major damage and knockback to anyone near the falling blocks. Quickly mine these magma blocks before they turn to obsidian and despawn.
Lava Beast Boss
When 10,000 Volcanic Slime are slain, the Lava Beast inside the volcano will spawn. It can also be manually spawned with Boss Eggs purchased from the Magma Forge. This formidable boss has 3500 health, 25 damage and 65% damage resistance
Abilities:
- Fireballs: Shoots multiple fireballs towards multiple players
- Dead Roar: Spawns volcanic slimes to aid in battle
- Smash: Sends nearby players flying
- Jump Smash: Massive AOE attack from a jump
Loot includes spawner cores, legendary CEs, pouches, crate keys, adamant ingots, builder wands, and harvester hoes.
Legendary drops are Golem Boss Leggings, Mini Golem Pet, and Legendary Treasure Box.
Protected by the Tangleroot Village is an ancient pyramid. Enter the Jungle Dungeon Lobby through the portal at the top. Start a dungeon run with up to 4 players, bringing your own gear (safe on death). Each player has 5 lives before the dungeon ends. There is 10 unique types of dungeon rooms. A dungeon run will randomly select 6 rooms, with the final room always being a boss battle.
Successfully complete the dungeon to earn a Dungeon Crate Key.

- Infestation: Destroy all spawners and slay remaining monsters.
- Wither: Spawn and slay a set number of withers.
- Caved: Mine through to find the door key and door.
- Deep Dive: Find the key hidden underwater, avoiding drowning.
- Fairy: Find and hit the allay carrying the room key.
- Ice: Puzzle room with cracking ice blocks.
- Maze: Navigate a randomly generated maze with ravagers.
- Parkour: Complete a randomly generated parkour path.
- Pond: Catch supplies and the dungeon key from a Mana Pond.
- Boss: Face a random boss in the final room. Defeat the boss to finish the dungeon.

We’re also excited to announce that our Survival Server is upgrading to Minecraft version 1.21! This update, known as the "Tricky Trials" update, brings a plethora of new features and improvements to enhance your gameplay experience. Here are some of the big features you can look forward to:
- Trial Chambers: These new, procedurally generated structures are designed for exploration and combat. Inside, you'll encounter various rooms with parkour challenges, vaults, safe rooms, underwater rooms, and the new Trial Spawner blocks which adapt to the number of players around and dispense loot after defeating spawned mobs
- New Mobs:
- Breeze: A hostile mob found in Trial Chambers that shoots wind charges, dealing damage and knocking back entities
- Bogged: A skeleton variant that shoots poison arrows, found in swamps, mangrove swamps, and Trial Chambers
- Copper and Tuff Blocks: New building blocks including copper bulbs and chiseled tuff, adding more decorative options to your builds
- New Weapon - The Mace: A melee weapon crafted using a Breeze Rod and a Heavy Core. It deals more damage based on the height of your fall and can knock back enemies. The Mace also negates fall damage if you hit an enemy while falling
- Ominous Bottle: Grants the Bad Omen effect, turning any village you enter into a Raid Omen
The only feature that will be disabled on release is the Crafter block, as we are not comfortable with the stability or dupe potential of this item yet. It will be enabled mid-season after more testing by the minecraft community.
This of course also means the 1.20 features are now available too. In case you missed, it 1.20 is the "Trails & Tales" update, the major additions are:
- Archaeology: Unearth hidden artifacts from suspicious sand blocks near desert temples and wells using the new brush tool. Discover pottery shards, sniffer eggs, and more.
- Cherry Grove Biome: Explore the new Cherry Grove biome, filled with beautiful cherry blossom trees and unique pink wood blocks.
- New Mobs:
- Camels: Found in desert villages, these mounts can carry two players and have a unique dash ability.
- Sniffer: An ancient mob resurrected from eggs found via archaeology, which digs up ancient seeds.
- New Blocks:
- Bamboo Wood: Includes a full set of wood blocks, bamboo mosaic, and the bamboo raft.
- Hanging Signs: Stylish signs that can hang in various ways.
- Chiseled Bookshelf: A functional bookshelf that interacts with redstone based on the number of books it holds.
- Patterned Pots: Created using pottery shards found through archaeology.
- Armor Trims: Customize your armor with new trims found in special locations, adding both color and pattern to your gear.

We’re also excited to announce that our Survival Server is upgrading to Minecraft version 1.21! This update, known as the "Tricky Trials" update, brings a plethora of new features and improvements to enhance your gameplay experience. Here are some of the big features you can look forward to:
- Trial Chambers: These new, procedurally generated structures are designed for exploration and combat. Inside, you'll encounter various rooms with parkour challenges, vaults, safe rooms, underwater rooms, and the new Trial Spawner blocks which adapt to the number of players around and dispense loot after defeating spawned mobs
- New Mobs:
- Breeze: A hostile mob found in Trial Chambers that shoots wind charges, dealing damage and knocking back entities
- Bogged: A skeleton variant that shoots poison arrows, found in swamps, mangrove swamps, and Trial Chambers
- Copper and Tuff Blocks: New building blocks including copper bulbs and chiseled tuff, adding more decorative options to your builds
- New Weapon - The Mace: A melee weapon crafted using a Breeze Rod and a Heavy Core. It deals more damage based on the height of your fall and can knock back enemies. The Mace also negates fall damage if you hit an enemy while falling
- Ominous Bottle: Grants the Bad Omen effect, turning any village you enter into a Raid Omen
The only feature that will be disabled on release is the Crafter block, as we are not comfortable with the stability or dupe potential of this item yet. It will be enabled mid-season after more testing by the minecraft community.
This of course also means the 1.20 features are now available too. In case you missed, it 1.20 is the "Trails & Tales" update, the major additions are:
- Archaeology: Unearth hidden artifacts from suspicious sand blocks near desert temples and wells using the new brush tool. Discover pottery shards, sniffer eggs, and more.
- Cherry Grove Biome: Explore the new Cherry Grove biome, filled with beautiful cherry blossom trees and unique pink wood blocks.
- New Mobs:
- Camels: Found in desert villages, these mounts can carry two players and have a unique dash ability.
- Sniffer: An ancient mob resurrected from eggs found via archaeology, which digs up ancient seeds.
- New Blocks:
- Bamboo Wood: Includes a full set of wood blocks, bamboo mosaic, and the bamboo raft.
- Hanging Signs: Stylish signs that can hang in various ways.
- Chiseled Bookshelf: A functional bookshelf that interacts with redstone based on the number of books it holds.
- Patterned Pots: Created using pottery shards found through archaeology.
- Armor Trims: Customize your armor with new trims found in special locations, adding both color and pattern to your gear.
