Hey <3
so i would love to know what made people join survival and why they continue to play.
For me i needed something new after playing factions for a few years and had never really played a multiplayer survival, and when i got to know the community it was a selling point as everyone here is so helpful and so kind.

Hi becca !
I started playing survival because I wanted something new aswell, after a season on skyblock I got a bit bored. So I decided to give survival a chance :)
The reason i stayed is mostly because of the community and the people playing on this server. Sure i love ssvs and building stuff, but the awesome people like you that are active on the server everyday are the main reason why i keep playing survival <3

Story time with Awesomeboy!

I was playing Minecraft with some friends 3 years ago, and they told me to get on Manacube Survival. I joined their party and I started to get really into it, so I left my friends' party and made an underground base ;D. This was in season 4 and after playing for a while, I got invited to another party. I saw that they had a few good things and builds so I decided to join. That party went inactive and I ended up joining a new one and that one also went inactive.

I finally found an active party, but then season had reset and I hoped to be able to continue playing with that party. It was season 5, and we played for around 2 days and our leader was very inactive, so I decided to try to "overthrow" the party by leaving and inviting all the active people. It worked, but the person that was leading the party with me found that doing this was too stressful for him, so he quit. I had gotten a free rankup paper from someone who had promised me that they would give me one and I was very grateful for that! After that, all my other party members quit and I decided to quit too as there was nothing for me to do.

About 6 months later, I was playing on other PVP and parkour servers, I decided to come back and talk to some old friends (the ones who remembered me) and there wasn't much so I decided to just log off. I kept coming back and decided to start playing again. I wanted to try and get to VIP+ because I already had VIP from the rankup paper. I was buying cubits and someone had scammed me! I made a ticket and got the person banned along with the money returned.

I wanted to try and get some good armor so I decided to start making diamond armor with full enchants including ces. I had no idea where to get ces though, so I decided to start asking around in chat! @Sonic_Raptor been playing 23.5 hours a day at the time, so he dmed me saying that he had a shop at warp ce and he gave me some enchants for free! I saw that he was in one of the top parties and wanted to join because I was interested in learning more about survival. To my surprise, I joined Hyrule. In that whole season, I had built builds for Hyrule (crazy amirite?!?!?!?!) and also worked my way up from VIP to MVP+. I went inactive for a month or so because it was boring for me, but luckily reset came!

At the reset announcement, I saw that there were a lot of plans for Hyrule for season 6. I decided to help out a bit and invited a friend of mine to play with me. They said yes and joined Hyrule and I grinded like 10 hours a day for a whole month at the start of the season. First, I had bought ELITE for 3b. Then I started collecting season vaults. I built farms for Hyrule and played minigames almost every night with the party. Now I'm still in Hyrule and I've been in the party for 1 year now!

I'm supposed to be doing homework but I typed this instead

TDLR: Friends told me to play, I played. I joined like 5 parties then quit. Joined Hyrule late season 5 and I am still playing now ;D. I continue to play because I find it really fun to just talk in chat, discord or play minigames with friends.

So there I was a dumb kid looking for parkour servers xD, i played pk for a bit then rage quit for a few months, I came back in I think mid to late august of 2020 and finished the easy parkour I rage quit on and decided to see what else the server had

I went to survival and it seemed like it was fun, I met this person named Christian or something who invited me to their base and I joined and liked it so much that I kept playing, they sadly went inactive and I joined a party called melon which I happily grieved
I made my own party started using discord and made some friends and literally became god on the server so that's that

This is my first season on mana, me and my brother were playing on a different server that was even more ptw than mana and had not been reset in years. After grinding to try to catch up, we decided to find a different server. My brother found mana and thats where it all began, after playing for a few days, we both got vip+, then later got the rest of the ranks (except elite, ty panda LOL), and while he stopped playing, I still play because of the community and hope to see new additions or bugs being fixed. It’s fun to see the community grow and see how people react to certain updates. Cool thread, Becca! :D

I loved survival servers and I could never find one where it kept my interest because I couldn't figure out how to get decently well in the game while also having fun since everyone would ignore me in chat. Then I looked at the server website and saw manacube having good ratings and a survival server. So I joined back in ss3, no connections and I was the biggest noob, but everytime I had a question I'd get an answer which was really nice. I also got some people who would talk to me too. Then later on I got 30M to myself (me not knowing that without having a farm that was rlly good) met ThaKillerKlown a couple weeks into the server, and moved by his p home for a bit in an abandoned house.
About 2 months after I joined the server, he asked if I trusted him and he claimed my house and asked me to join his party, in that moment I found out his party was 3rd on ptop and I legit freaked out. He taught me so much about how to make farms and what was good and what wasn't good. He also bought me my first rank and kept the game fun for me since he gave me goals to look forward to. Ever since season 3 (still the most fun season for me) I've been having fun in mana (even with all the bugs) and made myself a place in the community.
The survival community was one of the biggest things on what kept me here and its going to be one of the things that have a special place for me because we all work together and have always had a little bit of fun competitive talk.

I began playing back when I was looking for a good survival server to play. I went through many servers until I found manacube and it's my favorite of all the survival servers I've tried. The positive community plus the fact that most of the features are very enjoyable for me keeps me entertained and wanting to continue playing.

I don't exactly main survival, but I go there every now and then to chill. The first reason I joined was because I didn't want a welcome message to show when I actually wanted to start playing, lol...but then I decided "hey I've done parkour, KitPvP and Creative, I'm getting bored of them. I want to try something new!" I'm pretty sure that I joined Atlas on the same day. Back to survival stuff, the first thing I did on the gamemode was build an unfinished house in the desert, and then lose it from not sethome'ing, and then to have a mod tp me back and I lost it again xD I have a new house now

I used to main aztec skyblock back in 2019-2020, but then the lag made it really hard to play, and the server died, so I headed to survival. I found out that I liked survival more, and I don’t plan to leave it!

Loool same thing happened to me but I just gave up trying to find it, maybe one day ill find it if it hasn't been completely ruined xD Survival is definitely a good place to go just to chill as you said and chat with people.

Ok, I picked survival, bc I was pretty tired of playing singleplayer, so I just googled "best survival servers" and manacube came up, so I just joined the survival player, was still in stone age for about 2 months xD, and then, I started using chat a lot and going into pvp, and the ppls are pretty nice on the server, so I decided to stay. So im here now.
