Hey bigkirbypuff420, here is my critique of your map! (please note that I am only a Mapper and my opinion has no effect on the final decision)

The build is okay. I like some of these structures and I do believe I could see these in the Middle Ages. The main problem is that its floating islands. A floating islands map is typically very unoriginal when it comes to a theme and medieval architecture is not the most original thing. The parkour is good, but you need more variation. A lot of your jumps are floating and are solid block jumps. Players typically want to play courses with more variation so they don't get bored during your course. Try mixing in some daylight sensors, fence gates, soul sand, ice, water jumps, piston heads, piston bases, cobble walls, beds, cakes, etc. The parkour you did make fits the difficulty so good job on that!

Overall, this map is okay but needs a little work for it to be accepted. Good luck!

Alright, I edited the map to have more varied jumps.

Hey there mate, (This is only my personal opinion so you can either take my feedback or discard it)
Sadly as Casey mentioned above your map is very unoriginal as there are quite a lot of floating maps on islands and a handful of medieval maps. I've reviewed this map after it's been updated by you and you did mention you added more variation to the jumps but sadly I can only see a handful of jumps changed and they've been basically just replaced with a couple of blocks and no real changes to the jumps, it's definitely an improvement but it's quite slight. I suggest adding more interior detail as the inside of the parkour map, presumably, the middle castle area has quite bland/boring interior which could be easily fixed with some determination and dedication to the task at hand.

Good luck! :)

Hello bigkirbypuff420 & Wither899,

Unfortunately, I will be Rejecting your map.
The theme isn't original, as there are many maps related to floating islands/middle age themed builds etc. Please refer to the document in this thread - https://manacube.com/threads/parkour-list-with-theme.20194/ to make sure your map idea is original.
The build is good, it's simple but has nice details on the exterior of the houses, I would suggest trying to add a bit more interior detail though.
Some of the parkour is varied. I noticed that once you got to the middle section of the map that it became a lot more varied, but the beginning stages of the map are very repetitive. It would be great if you could keep up the consistency of variety throughout the whole map.
As your map is floating islands, there are some floating jumps. This wasn't too excessive and you did have parkour inside the build, but do try to avoid having too many jumps floating around the build and the void, as this can make your map look quite messy.
The length is possibly a bit long, but the difficulty is good for an easy map.

Thanks for submitting your map! I hope to see more maps from you in the future.
