Here is a map made by me and my friend SoccerChicken50 based on the show Phineas and Ferb. We have built it in Soccerchicken50s 4th plot. Here are the details:
Difficulty: Expert
Jumps: 100
Checkpoints: 8

Absolutely loved the map!! Fantastic build and it was lots of fun to play!! There were lots of different jumps I hadn’t tried before and lots of variety!!! Good luck you two!!

I love both the theme and the build. As both of you know I have already tested the map and I have to say the parkour was very interesting. So much variety, it never felt boring. Good job to both of you!

Thanks a lot George. With that last jump (the wall to the stair) we’ve now replaced the glass you have to go around with trapdoors. This makes it much better.

Hi, I have found quite a few skips. I'm normally not too concerned with small skips, buy given that this is an expert map, I feel some parts are too easy and as a result create really easy shortcuts and exploits.

oh and 1 more. This one may be possible via a double jam, but I an unable to verify due to fly. You might want to look into this.

Hey Minester1234 and SoccerChicken50,

Unfortunately, I will be REJECTING this map submission.
  • Theme: Although we already have a Phineas and Ferb map, this map is definitely original as it features something completely different than that one (which features the two titular characters). We've never seen Doof's tower before, good job!
  • Build: Regarding the build, there's good and bad. Regarding the good, it definitely looks like Doof's tower. I can see the effort you guys put into it to make it look as faithful as possible. But, and I hope you understand me here, the build is just kind of bland and lacking in some areas. The block choices are okay as there's not much else that can be used, but, you could definitely utilize them better. To mention a few things: the balconies seem like an afterthought (look empty), the interior was minimally used, the dome at the top is out of place (it should line up with the edges), and, overall, the building itself is very uninventive. I just think that there is a lot that can be done to further the build.
    Parkour: The parkour was not hard enough for an expert, even if it was long enough for one. At best, it's a hard-level map. I just didn't feel that overall expert-difficulty. So, you're either gonna have to buff the entire parkour or cut back on some 20~ jumps. Although you did try to be very varied in your parkour and were successful for the most part, I still didn't enjoy playing it that much because it was rather mediocre at parts. Like, a couple of jumps were recycled throughout the map (iron trapdoors and ladders, for the sake of mentioning some) and you'd put the same block back to back a couple of times. It just didn't fit the difficulty and wasn't super enjoyable to do.
I hope you take these criticisms into consideration when submitting maps in the future, good luck!
