Discord Nitro

Hey guys, so today I got a message from discord nitro bot saying I was gifted 1 year of nitro. This is cool and all but I'm super confused.
Firstly, how do I find out who gifted it to me?
Secondly, why cant I use the nitro perks? I've tried using emojis and reactions from different servers but nothing works.
Also, if anyone knows some cool things I can do with nitro, please let me know!

Oops!! I clicked on it... then it said for me to add it to a server, so I added it to a test server I have. I'll remove it now though lol

Meh, nitro isn't really that great. I used to have it because Discord gifted temp nitro to all hype squad people.
