Bring back pvp to earth

Tbh reason earth is dead is cus pvp fell off. Especially around season 3 where there were more peaceful towns than not, season 4 comes out and the reward for sieging isn't worth it at all and most towns are peaceful anyway so it doesn't even matter. Encourage sieges more by adding a better reward (not cubits tho that's frankly an awful idea) like maybe when you win the siege and occupy the town then the king of your nation gets mayor privileges in that town until they revolt?

Another idea I had a while ago was to replace one of the prestige requirements with siege kills instead of like manapond catches since pond is really annoying now.

Idk what the situation on earth is rn since I haven't played in a while but this is what I've come up with so maybe they won't work now but idk(?)

Make owning a big town actually worth like im not joking its really horrible like worse then the PvP situation right now
There is already an incentive for having a big town, you get more space to build stuff and for each member you have you get 4 chunks of claims. The PvP situation on Earth is the biggest issue that must be addressed.

In your opinion, how can a town/nation of just beginners and f2p players survive in a world where sieges happen way more often, or is it that we lose all our progress randomly because some guy who spent some money on svas gets to kill us
SVAs are free and are meant to be better than normal items. I am completely F2P and have 15 SVAs and have opened 40+ crates. You also don't lose items if you die in a siege lol.

We get that svas can be obtained for free 100%

Most of the ppl from my nation want to chill and have some fun building & recruiting and maybe be in a seige and try it out (we did it once just as a test in a temp town) but most of them dont just want to grind and grind. I barely have the time to "grind".

How would a nation of beginners/no grinders be able to survive. If this cant be balanced then most players wont play but right now i agree with you sieges need to happen more often

I mentioned in the original post that if a player didn't have Guard rank or higher within their town that they can't be killed in a siege unless they attack a siege or enter the banner radius.

Dont spend all your time recruiting when if you can't handle a ton of random nons in your town, stick to a group you can trust and you can accomplish anything

If u stick to a group u can trust u can't accomplish 'anything' u can accomplish a lot when u have people u trust but can't have a lot of claims if it's only ppl u trust

playershops are pointless if everything is in the block shop tho since all the intresting items like potions axi buckets and 90% of blocks are unlisted if you make a shop for them

yo yo imma fairly active member and I've been here 2 seasons now. I'm a strictly building-focused player so I might have a unique perspective on this topic so here are some of my suggestions:

Return of the full block shop PLS. Having a limited block shop makes building grindy for no real reason. Grindier building doesn't add to the server as building isn't a big part of the server's progression loop and the full block shop kept me playing this server last season, but now I feel less motivated to log in.


Old spawner drops/ more useful drops. Having villagers, iron golems, and piglin spawners drop useful resources made building the farms more rewarding especially early on when those resources are more needed. Now it just feels like the spawners grinders are just set up for money and don't add much to the game progression.

More incentive for world-building. I think Earth needs a mechanic to make town building and expansion more worthwhile. Maybe something like town resource plots or ways to produce money/ resources with towny instead of grinders tucked away underground. It would also be interesting if nations could only recruit neighboring towns. This would make settlement placement more important and promote more towns linking up physically. It would also make moving around the map harder making wars more interesting, and it would make outpost building useful.

Fix resource world reset issue <3, thats all I got ty!
OMG the full block shop, frrr we need it back :D

As an active player on Earth, I have noticed some things that need to be changed (IMO) to make a better gameplay experience for all players. Again, these are things that I (as in SirJakuIV) think that would be a good change in S5. Please be as brutal as you can in replies so i can see what I need to change or see yall's thought process.

1). Eliminate the VIP requirement for prestige: This aspect for the game makes it really hard for new players (especially irresponsible 12-year-olds) to get any cubits or any advantages in-game. I understand the idea behind it, but it can deter players that are actually good but may not have the financial backing. And, if you decide to go into debt just so another player can rank you up, it will always be over your head. I've never been in debt, but a lot of the younger players have been and I can understand how stressful that can be.

2). More Earth Staff: As of writing this post, there are a grand total of 2 staff members that are "in-charge" of earth and due to the fact that they are European, from 6-11pm east/cent, shit always goes down in the server at that time and there's usually no help. We've had some really good applications in recent months as well as some really helpful people that deserve consideration as helpers.

3). /addSVA perk: I've said it once and I still stand with this one. There needs to be a perk or a at least a 3 time use per purchase way of adding normal. yet sentimental items to SVA. In all respect to the admins, some of the sva items have really shitty enchantments that make it almost not finacially worth buying them. I also think that, again just my observation, that a Trojan Sword should not be weaker than a Legandary sword. It's just a slap in the face for people who do grind for SVAs. Theres more I would like to say abt this perk but i wanna keep this short.

4). Make Taxes more relevant in gameplay: Everyone in-game knows that there is a lack of "civilization" on Earth. There are no real connections between larger nations (minus the Patrons of Aurum and the (now-defunct) PvP Nation of Ganksquad) and I think a way to fix this stagnant era would be to add taxes to peaceful towns and to give seige winners cubit rewards. Obviously, there would be a cool-down period so certain players (not gonna name any one....) wouldn't just bug it as well as a 2-week cooldown so the same few towns dont keep raiding each other. I also think that GDP should play a bigger role in town development. For example: Per every 5 levels, you get 10 bonus claims or smth like that. Finally, to stay on topic, get rid of player kill leaderboards or at least fix it. I dont even like pvp but i still love a good competition lol.
5). This one is gonna be rough but add a function to mute main chat but keep tc/gc/nc/lc still on. No explanation needed: sometimes we js wanna play with our friends without listening to a schizophrenic scream about conspiracy theories at 10am. And before you type "Just /ignore" that doesn't solve the issue, that just ignores it until the said issue bites you in the ass.

Thats kinda it. I'll add on to this whenever I think of more stuff. I appreciate (almost) any feedback. Ty ManaEarth for my first season :D
i love ur ideas but tbh i quite like the first one being put in place because then more people would have something to grind towards and allows them to stay for longer and also i think there should be more way to get cubits, the same as prestiging but different ways like weekly hard tasks or monthly any would be very awesome

I will make an update to this post to see how some of these ideas fair today; I made this post like 6 months ago and while some stuff have changed I feel like I have a better understanding of how things work as a QA member and as someone whos played alot more

(1)There should be a rewind feature for staff, Ive seen mods and record features that allow you see what happened in the past. This would make solving reports WAY easier. For ex, if someone is camping the border of your town, or if someone in your town steals something, ONLINE staff could just review what happened and be able to see exactly what happened
(Most of these mods only work if the staff is online, but there are some offline versions, like the one $hitpixel uses for pvp replays)
Theres been multiple times that I've been Border-Camped or had some issue but because I had Insufficient Evidence, my reports never went through.

(2)This would also play into #2 of what Jaku said, we DESPERATELY need more staff. There's Dduo, there's Stephie, there's Ara, Theres Jacob, Moni (The latter 3 only log on occasionally, but not sparcely).. and das pretty much it, there's only like 5 staff and and some of them log on occasionally and ofc timezones. There's some great people that would be great staff. and with the timezones it gives a grace period for misconduct (I would know lol)

(3)Also, SVAs are kinda stoobid. There's some GREAT SVA armor and gear, but some of them are kinda dumb
Exhibit A: Trojan Sword, why is it weaker than a legendary sword? Yet so much harder to get
There should def be a feature to make certain items SVAs, like sentimental items or certain gear. Make it a feature that costs like 10-15c so that its balanced, but I have some items that I would DEFINITELY like to bring to next ssn if I could.

(4)I also think there should be a full block shop, reasons I have for that have already been said

(5) also, there should a time-limit on chests in wilds. In towns they should last forever, but in wilds they should only last maybe 1 week until they expire, more than enough time for someone to come collect their stuff while not providing a nuisance for players who have to go through the ticket process when clearing out chests, especially if its multiple peoples locked chests. (same should apply to doors, or anything else that can be locked)

(6) Probably my last idea, but there should def be a way to allow certain people to tp to your town if /t spawn is disabled for your town. Something /t spawn allow name

(?) I have no way of checking rn, but I cant remember if keep inv is on in Arena plots in towns. If not, then why not? If yes, then good

I'm still relatively new to Earth, I've only been around for 1 ssn, so there might be reasons/issues with my ideas

1. Trojan sword isn’t meant for pvp, it is meant for grinding, hence the effect: 2x exp from mobs.

2. Bringing non sva items across seasons is a horrible idea, as mana may get rid of said item for next season.

3. We are fine atm with earth staff, we just need them to be more “active” for example Stephie, she is on everyday almost, in contrast to Ara, who stops by for an hour than leaves for a week ( No offense Ara❤️)
